why we exist.
From humble beginnings, Juliet Zulu has been the dedication, passion and talent of a group of artists and their unwavering drive to deepen a pursuit of filmmaking by collaborating with excellent clients. A team whose greatest strength is solidarity, shorthand and a seven year camaraderie in an otherwise freelance based industry.
What started as a production company grew into a creative agency that fell headfirst into becoming a global agency of record. The instincts and talents of this team found success in yearly brand strategy, seasonal creative direction and large content roll-outs across digital and traditional mediums.
But today, we return to our roots and our first calling to pursue filmmaking with complete focus. To build on each individual's skills and experience. To make wonderful, compelling and impactful stories in film. To work with new and exciting clients and put our best foot forward, which in our case is when we all step forward together.
What we do.
Our full-service production team is lead by a seasoned team of producers. With a global network and a history of defying the odds, JZ has produced large scale productions and nimble, run-and-gun projects on every continent of the globe (unless you count Antarctica).
Our filmmakers cut their teeth as copywriters, creative directors, art directors and designers. We bring this knowledge to each decision behind the camera and we enjoy sitting at the table as thought partners, content strategists and creative collaborators.
Our post team of editors and motion artists are involved in a project from the beginning and stay in constant conversation with production teams to bring films to life. JZ's music director and composer, Clint Snow, composes the music for all major projects or carefully oversees music and sound artists with a deep knowledge of each project.
Our photographers and lead photographer, Brenton Salo, incorporate stills into every film project with an eye towards editorial that transcends BTS. These stills regularly become campaign assets that have found new life on digital channels, print publications and large format, OOH executions.
